We love making stir fry for dinner. Grab any protein and almost any vegetable you have laying around and combine it with this flavorful Chili Garlic Stir Fry Sauce, and you’ve got a winning dinner that everyone will love.
We made this on our Blackstone griddle, which is excellent for achieving a nice sear on the shrimp and broccoli and maintaining heat even when you’re cooking for a crowd. If you don’t have a gas griddle yet or it is buried in a snow bank, you can also make this in a regular non-stick skillet or wok. For variations, consider adding bell peppers, snow peas, or mushrooms for additional flavors and textures. Tofu can be substituted for the shrimp for a vegetarian version.

This Spicy Broccoli Shrimp Stir Fry uses our homemade Spicy Chili Garlic Stir Fry Sauce. Easy and delicious!
Ingredients
Sauce
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons mirin
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons chili garlic sauce
- 1 teaspoon sriracha
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon canola oil
Stir Fry
- 2 pounds shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 1 small onion, sliced
Instructions
- Mix all the sauce ingredients together and stir well to combine.
- Preheat the Blackstone to medium-high heat. Add a little oil to the griddle. Stir fry broccoli for 3-4 minutes and then cover with a dome.
- Squirt a tablespoon of water under the dome and let steam.
- Uncover, add some more oil to the griddle surface, and then add the shrimp.
- Cook for 1 minute per side, and then pour the sauce over and cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
