These simple air fryer chicken breasts are perfect for a quick dinner or to meal prep for a week's worth of lunches! Customize by using different flavor profiles in your rub according to what you plan on using them for.
Prep the air fryer basket with the avocado oil spray. Spray the chicken breasts with it as well, and then coat with your chicken rub.
Place the breasts into the air fryer basket, and put the basket in the air fryer.
Turn the air fryer to 375°F.
Cook for approximately 15-17 minutes, depending on the size of the chicken breasts. It is best to use a wireless thermometer in at least one of the breasts to be able to monitor the internal temperature from your phone.
Remove from the air fryer when the internal temperature of the chicken breasts reach 163°F. The carryover cooking will get the temp up and past 165°F while they rest.
Tent the breasts with foil and let rest for 5-10 minutes.
Slice, across the grain, and serve. Or add to your meal prep containers with your favorite fixings. Suggestions are above in the body of the blog post.
