Griddle Tools
Ingredients
2
pounds
sea scallops
1
tablespoon
sea salt
4
tablespoons
avocado oil
Instructions
Preheat your griddle over medium high heat.
Dry the scallops on paper towels well. They can't be moist if you want a good crust on them.
Season the scallops with the salt on both sides.
Lay down the oil on the griddle surface and let preheat.
Place the scallops onto the oil, flat side down.
Let cook for 3-4 minutes, or until a golden brown crust has formed on the scallop's surface.
Flip, ensuring the scallop gets turned onto an oiled surface to make sure it won't stick.
Let cook another 3-4 minutes, or until the other side is also browned.
Remove from the griddle and serve hot.
