Pi Day Recipes to love!

Pi Day is a celebration of the mathematical constant pi, observed on March 14th (3/14), due to pi’s approximate value of 3.14. While the day is typically marked by math-related activities, I don’t math, and I especially don’t math for fun, so PIE it is!

There are countless pie recipes out there to choose from, but some classic favorites include chicken pot pie, apple pie, and no-bake pies. You’ll find examples of all of those below.

Apple pie is a quintessential American dessert, with its sweet and tangy filling of sliced apples, cinnamon, and sugar, baked to perfection in a buttery crust. And for those who prefer a no-bake option, there are plenty of delicious pie recipes that require no oven time at all, such as chocolate cream pie or key lime pie.

If you’re feeling adventurous, you can also try putting a fun twist on a classic pie recipe by experimenting with unique flavor combinations or alternative crusts. For example, a salted caramel apple pie, or a savory bacon and egg pie (aka quiche) with a hash brown crust.

No matter what kind of pie you choose to make, celebrating Pi Day with a tasty treat is a fun and delicious way to honor this mathematical constant. So grab your rolling pin and get ready to whip up some mouth-watering pies!
