Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound Spicy Italian Sausage
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 red bell pepper sliced
- 1 small yellow onion chopped
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 tablespoons chopped Calabrian Chiles in oil
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 24- ounce jar Rao’s Marinara Sauce
- 3 cups water
- 2 teaspoons beef bouillon
- 8 ounces high-quality pasta
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage. Drain excess fat from the pan.
- Add the olive oil to the pan and throw in the bell peppers and onions. Sauté for 4-5 minutes.
