FAQ

How do I store leftover Crunch Wrap Supremes?

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat on the griddle or in a microwave before serving. The lettuce inside is going to degrade pretty quickly, however, so I recommend only making as many as you’ll eat in one sitting, and keeping the ingredients separate if you want to make more in the days to come.

Can I make these ahead of time?

No, this dish is best cooked immediately before serving. You can prep and cook the meat for the filling in advance, however.

What variations can I try?

Add in some jalapenos for spice. Change-up the cheese or use a nacho cheese sauce. Add some hot sauce into the mix. Use seasoned black beans instead of refried beans.

How do I reheat the Crunch Wrap Supremes?

Reheat on the griddle for the best texture or microwave for a quicker option. The lettuce is not going to be great being reheated, however, so keep that in mind!

Cook Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • 6 Large Burrito Soft Tortillas
  • 6 Tostada shells
  • 6 Medium Taco Soft Tortillas
  • 3 cups taco meat
  • 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 cups shredded lettuce
  • cup sour cream
  • cup diced tomatoes
  • cup refried beans

Instructions

  • Prepare your taco meat. If you are using leftovers, heat them up in the microwave or on the griddle.
  • Preheat your griddle over medium heat. Warm your tortillas lightly on the griddle surface to make them soft and pliable.
  • Lay out the large tortilla and place 1/2 cup of meat and cheese in the center. Top with a tostada shell lightly spread with refried beans on one side. Top that with lettuce, sour cream, and tomatoes.
  • Put the small soft taco tortilla over the filling and fold up the larger tortilla over the top of everything, making some pleats so it will lay flat.
  • Lightly oil your griddle surface and carefully flip over the crunch wrap so the pleats are facing down. Press down on the top with a spatula and brown the bottom.
  • Carefully flip over and brown the other side.
  • Remove and eat while hot with your favorite hot sauce.
