Blackstone Eggnog French Toast

One bite of this buttery, sweet, soft French toast, and you will be hooked! As soon as the eggnog hits the shelves in the fall, we start making this seasonal French toast. Buy the good eggnog. The kind from the local creamery is in the glass bottles, if it’s available. Or if you are feeling frisky you can always make your own.

You’ll have extra after making this. It only takes 1/2 cup of eggnog for each batch of French Toast, but it adds such incredible flavor to the end result.

Speaking of ingredients – spring for the good bread, too. We buy a cinnamon swirl brioche from a local bakery, and one loaf costs about $10, but it is 100% worth it. Want to make your own? Here is a great recipe for that!

Why You’ll Love This Dish

  • Rich and Custardy – The eggnog mixture gives the toast a creamy texture inside.
  • Perfectly Spiced – Cinnamon and vanilla enhance the warm, sweet flavors.
  • Golden and Crisp – Cooking on a griddle ensures an even, golden crust.
  • Great for Brunch – Easy to make in batches, perfect for feeding a crowd.
  • Seasonal Twist – Eggnog adds a festive touch to classic French toast.

  • Cinnamon
  • Vanilla – real vanilla extract only, please.
  • Sugar
