Ginger Scallion Crab
This bold sauce is your crab's new best friend! This recipe will have you licking your fingers, it is so good!
Ingredients
- 2 pounds crab clusters, steamed
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh ginger, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh garlic, chopped
- 1 large diced shallot
- 4 tablespoons butter, divided
- 4 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
- 1/4 cup high quality soy sauce
- 6 dried whole chili peppers
- 2 tablespoons scallions, chopped
Instructions
Break up your steamed crab legs into clusters.
In a large wok or skillet over medium heat, add the oil, garlic, ginger, and shallot. Sauté for 3-4 minutes.
Add in 2 tablespoons of butter and the brown sugar. Stir until combined. Add the sriracha, soy sauce, and chili peppers. Let simmer, stirring frequently, for 2-3 minutes.
Add the last two tablespoons of butter and stir until it is melted and incorporated.
Toss the crab clusters with the sauce mixture and top with lots of freshly chopped scallions. Serve hot.
